Jawhara “Hara” moved to the greater Denver area from Alice Springs NT, Australia in 2020. Originally from Central Pennsylvania, Hara loves to travel and learn about different cultures. She has visited South Korea, Canada, Germany, England, and New Zealand. She received a Bachelor of Science in Music from Towson University in Towson, Maryland and a teaching certificate for teaching English as a foreign language at the International TEFL Academy. In addition to a music degree and a teaching certificate, she is currently a graduate student at the University of Denver studying a Master’s in Library and Information Science with a concentration in research and data management. She currently serves as the American Library Association Student Chapter President while working toward her goal. When she isn’t helping RVU students with day to day library inquiries, studying at library school, conducting research as a research assistant, or serving as leader of ALA, Hara enjoys riding motorcycles, traveling, and circus activities such as flying trapeze and silks.
