If you want to use Teams to schedule an online meeting for faculty, staff, or students, you can schedule one from within Outlook (online or desktop) or the Teams interface (online or desktop).
1. Create a TEAMS meeting in Outlook by clicking "add online meeting", then selecting "Teams". A link will be added to your meeting invite.

1. Creating a meeting using the TEAMS interface allows you the attended benefit of scheduling a meeting in a specific Team channel. Click "Calendar", then schedule your meeting.
All meeting schedule inside the TEAMS interface (online in 365 or desktop) are automatically online meetings.
Helpful Hint: Scheduling a meeting in a specific channel is optional and only public channels (only visible by your TEAM members) allow you to schedule a meeting beforehand.
1. TEAMS meetings can be recorded and will post to your Stream channel. Any meeting that takes place in a Channel will post to the channel and Stream. However, deleting a recording from Stream will remove it from your Channel.
