Article Galaxy Scholar (AGS) is our new purchase platform that places the power to purchase pay-per-view articles directly in the hands of our faculty and students. RVU's community members can purchase articles from journals that are not included in the Library's online collection. The requestor receives the PDF directly from AGS and the Library takes care of the invoice. Articles are typically delivered within ten minutes to the requestor's RVU email address.
Previously, the Library would manually review purchase requests and then purchase the article on your behalf. The new approach allows our community to automatically purchase articles (up to their threshold) without waiting for each request to be manually reviewed.
