How to Search AccessMedicine

Users can search for information on AccessMedicine three different ways.

  • Basic Search -  Execute a broad search to capture results from a range of subjects and topics. 
  • Browse by Title - The quickest method for finding a specific eBook by title or by subject. 
  • Search within-text - Search for information within an eJournal or eBook. 

Basic Search will search the entirety of AccessMedicine. 

Results will include:

  • Book Chapter
  • Tables
  • Case
  • Quick Reference Resources
  • Images
  • Patient Education
  • Textbooks

Helpful Hint: Refine the results page by using the "Model Search" and "Filter Results" panels on the left hand side of the results page.

Search Textbook feature allows you to perform a keyword search for information just within that specific textbook.
