You will receive an email from a member of our team alerting you that we have begun the contactless circulation process and a second email when your books are available to be picked up in the library. Any requests received after staff hours will be processed the following day. Depending on the time of day and amount of requests, it may take up to 24-hours to process your request. If you are already on-campus and want to request a book, please email our team or visit the circulation desk.
Once your request has been processed, you can retrieve your books from the “Contactless Pickup” shelf (located by the circulation desk) anytime the library is open, even past staff hours. Your books will be placed in a brown privacy bag and your name will be written on the bag.
Student, Faculty, and Staff have 48-hours to pick up their books before they are checked back in and placed on the shelves.
An automated email will be sent to you once your books are due. You can respond to the email and request to renew your books (not all books can be renewed) or return your books to the library.
The Contactless Return Process
Students, Faculty, and Staff can return books to the circulation desk whenever the library is open.
Once returned, books are placed in a mandatory 24-hour quarantine and then placed back in circulation. The mandatory quarantine period applies to circulating and non-circulating books.
