Who should attend

Gain greater insights into Scopus, and use this knowledge to expand training and consulting options with library users. The primary audience for this training session is:

  • Librarians responsible for training students and researchers in using Scopus, including reference, instruction, scholarly communication, and subject librarians​
  • Of course, other library colleagues are welcome to join!

While content will be finalized in the near future, it will definitely explore elements of these fundamentals:

  • Coverage: What is included & how it is selected
  • Search strategies:  Mindful searching and leveraging the power of Scopus filters
  • Common use cases: Practical ways to use Scopus in real life!
  • Author profiles: Interpreting author-level data
  • Helpful resources
