First Aid Forward is an interactive online study platform for RVU community members preparing for the USMLE Step 1 examinations. The Library's subscription to First Aid Forward empowers our community to customize their approach to studying by quizzing themselves on core subjects featured in the Step 1 examinations. 

 Step 1 offers the same high-yield content students have come to find in McGraw Hill's First Aid book series but with continually updated material, advanced note-taking, audio reading & search capabilities, and subject-level quizzing & performance tracking. Packed with over 1,000+ color clinical images, 1,300+ high-yield facts, 350+ updated cases, 1000 + active learning questions, and mnemonics organized systematically, this interactive platform encompasses all essential principles and organ systems across all high-yield subjects you need to know. 

Create an Account

• Enter your RVU email address and click Continue.
• Click Send Magic Link 
• Check your email: you will have received an email from us with the subject line “Your McGraw Hill magic link”  
• Click on the magic link in the email to be logged into First Aid Forward. 
• Click “My Account.”
• Click “Edit.”
• Click “Don’t know your password? Click here to reset it” to create a new password.

Faculty

Our subscription to First Aid Forward includes the Admin Dashboard. In the Admin Dashboard, faculty can utilize performance analytics to monitor learning progress and identify at-risk students who need intervention.  

Faculty can create student accounts to access First Aid Forward content. If you’d like access to the Admin Dashboard, please email CustomerSuccess@mheducation.com.
